Job Title: Operator
Job Description
We are looking for an individual with 0-2 years of manufacturing experience. No specific experience is necessary, but we seek someone eager to work with their hands and learn the entire operation.
Responsibilities
Complete Scale House Operator training.
Demonstrate proficiency in manual tank gauging (Training will be provided).
Safely set up and perform batching, sulfur, and manifold valve operations.
Understand offloading barge setup (valves, heat trace breakers, tank levels).
Perform tank-to-tank transfers and troubleshoot basic issues.
Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs.
Actively participate in Emergency Response Drills.
Handle other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use various hand tools.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Experience in overhead crane operation.
General labor skills including landscaping.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Compliance with necessary PPE requirements.
Ability to work safely in noisy areas requiring hearing protection.
Capability to perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, stooping, twisting, and squatting.
Ability to work in all types of weather.
Ability to climb stairs (34’-48’ stair set for tank gauges, 25’ for load racks).
Ability to climb ladders, both on tanks and standard/extension ladders.

Work Environment
Our facility in Tonawanda, NY, specializes in asphalt products and services, including manufacturing asphalt emulsions, pavement preservation, liquid asphalt supply, and heavy highway construction. We have a team of 4 employees on the day shift and need 2 more on the night shift to complete our team. We have the following openings: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am Sunday - Thursday, and 10:00 pm - 6:00 am Monday - Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tonawanda Town, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
