Your Opportunity:
Toro is looking for an Associate Production Planner in Tomah, WI. This role analyzes SAP reports and screens to firm requirements to sourcing with necessary follow up to verify the purchase order is released in a timely manner. Work with suppliers to manage inventory levels and keep the proper flow of parts to fabrication and assembly areas.

This opportunity is on-site at The Toro Company, in Tomah, WI.
Associate Production Planner candidates should prepare for 5-days on-site in Tomah, WI for the majority of the schedule.
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm and overtime as required.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Attend Tier meetings daily and communicates material status.
Ensure production needs are met.
Support Manager, Planning and Production Control.
Develop the material requirements for assigned commodities using all Toro SAP information, planned order and buy information.
Specialize in critical need activities to support Production Planning.
Plan purchase orders and JIT materials within inventory, freight costs and turn ratio goals.
Firm release specifying quantities and delivery dates utilizing the desired inventory level policies. Maintain the A, B, C policies as prescribed.
Work with the buyer and vendor to resolve any and all problems.
Coordinate all transportation activities for assigned commodities keeping the overall costs within the optimum cost and time parameters. Follow the Tomah/Toro freight policies.
Reports problems in a timely manner, work with supplier until issues are resolved. Assists in the issuance of lines down report.
Spends 90% of the day on daily actions to support planning and operations

HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with internal and external customers
Strong organizational skills
Exceptional critical thinking skills
Attention to detail
Demonstrated self-initiative
Preferred?
Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.
2-4 years of prior experience with SAP, MS Office, and material planning and/or manufacturing preferred.
Other Job Related Components?
Works directly with the planning team. Works with multiple suppliers. Develop rapport with both the vendor and buyer.
Makes oral and written presentations. Must work with suppliers, sourcing, manufacturing in a professional manner whether on a one-on-one basis or large group situations.
Typical m anufacturing plant conditions (indoors, with variable temperature, noise).

Competitive Salary – A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $28.53 - $27.17. Salary will be determined by experience and qualifications, and geography.
