It is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems that allows delivery partners to on board, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. We are continuing to build a high paced and lean Japan team to implement and expand our last mile capabilities across key segments of Japan Transportation business. Amazon is now looking to hire an experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and (most importantly) customer-obsessed program manager.

We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager in Japan to help establish Amazon Transportation’s last mile delivery as the preferred provider in this specific space in order to build our network of Delivery Partners to drive product utilization and service optimization within the Amazon Transportation world. Internally, this leader will work directly with functions that cut across the organization, including technology, transportation, operations and customer service, to drive a great customer experience for our program. This position will be responsible for volume planning, both short-term and long-term, for Amazon Flex.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical and detail-oriented, possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment. An extreme bias for action is an absolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a superior track record of delivering results.

Key job responsibilities

•Drive program success by increase driver acquisition and program participation.

•Ensure a best-in-class customer experience by maximizing and securing Amazon Flex’s volume through proper capacity planning

•Support a best-in-class delivery partner experience, including a seemless onboarding & vehicle delivery.

•Analyze key metrics such as driver engagement, and implement initiatives to drive improvements including adding new 3P partners.

•Optimize and standardize the driver experience from applications with 3P partner through to vehicle delivery and onboarding.

•Create the program strategy and align with multiple stakeholders including Product, Technology, Marketing, Shipping & Delivery Services, Legal, PR, and Operations

•Lead and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders

•複数部署が関わる大規模かつ複雑なプログラムを主導します

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

• Experience negotiating complex partnerships with third party companies

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Native level of Japanese

• Business level of English

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
