Description

The Amazon Seller Services team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, inventive Software Development Engineer to help grow seller business in Japan.

Japan Seller Services (JPST) innovates for third-party sellers on Amazon Japan. We improve the customer and seller experience to make the site better for everyone. We work with a variety of technologies and systems to get the job done.

Basic qualifications

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Within 1 year after graduating university when application is complete

• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design

• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis

• Proficiency with the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, C/C++, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and open-source technologies (Linux, Spring, JQuery, etc.)

• English and Japanese Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
