Under Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Last Mile program, The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Compliance team is looking for Risk & Compliance Specialist. This role will be engaged in enabling our partners (DSPs) and their drivers (DAs) along with Amazonians are compliant through managing existing compliance mechanisms and increasing compliance awareness by leading communication for our partners or trainings for internal stakeholders. This role will proactively find opportunities for improvement for existing mechanisms and propose appropriate actions and lead them through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including worldwide team.

Key job responsibilities

・ Manage existing compliance controls and actions including investigating compliance issues, vetting and auditing new and existing partners, providing supports for escalations.

・ Find opportunities for improvements in existing compliance mechanisms and make proposal and lead the action for continuous improvement

・ Support facilitating compliance activities agreed with leadership and achieving on time completion through collaborating with diverse stakeholders while establishing strong working relationship

・ Manage and track existing compliance mechanisms in place and make comprehensive reporting with analyzing trends and clarifying opportunities. Review the data with leaders and suggest action items and follow up hem as agreed.

・ Support DSP facing compliance related actions thorough internal and external communication, including Corrective Action Plan (CAP) or Breach of Contract (BOC) cases.

・ Support Compliance related communication and training development and implementation through collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ year relevance experience in legal or compliance

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Business level of English and Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevance experience in legal or compliance in operations, transportation, or logistics

  • Self-starter, strong drive, bias for action and result oriented

  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment among a diverse and inclusive culture

  • Ability to influence leaders and teams across Amazon, insisting on the best interest of customers and other stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritize appropriately among multiple tasks and projects while meeting requirements

  • Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy in changing environment

  • Experience in using data and metrics

  • Experience in auditing 3P contractors

  • Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
