Responsibilities
Commercial Driver's License (CDL):
Valid Florida Class A or B CDL License, depending on the specific truck requirements.
Endorsements such as Tanker (N) and Hazardous Materials (H) a plus
Driving Skills:
Proficient in operating large commercial vehicles.
Skilled in maneuvering and backing up large trucks.
Familiarity with defensive driving techniques.
Safety Knowledge:
Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Clear understanding of mechanical systems.
Operational Skills:
Proficient in operating vacuum truck equipment and accessories.
Ability to manage hoses, pumps, and other vac truck components.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
