• Coordination and project management

• Facilitate the communication between the organizations, and group tax department on all significant tax matters

• Initiate, develop and implement tax-relevant concepts and ideas

• Manage and encourage local tax responsibles of the different legal entities to a high level of effectiveness and engagement

• Trainings and knowledge transfer

• Stay up to date with changing tax codes and accounting laws

• Establish a training landscape for different tax topics

• Enable transparent knowledge exchange between all Romanian tax responsibles of the different legal entities and between Romania and group tax department, respectively

• Tax compliance

• Ensure the correct understanding and implementation of the group tax department policies in the local companies

• Align a consistent treatment of the same tax matters for all Romanian group companies

• Maintain an overview of material tax topics for all group sectors in Romania

Coordinate, support and facilitate external tax audits; advise on appropriate implementation measures in relation with potential tax audit findings

• We are looking for a candidate with university economic degree, having at least 3-5 years of experience in general taxation gained in industry or in a tax consultancy firm. Preferred candidates have a Romanian Tax Consultants certification and should be proficient in the following requirements:

• Strong knowledge of tax codes and experience with compliance procedures for corporations

• Willingness to travel inside Romania, especially regular visits of the different companies

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and coordinate the tasks among other tax team members

• Experience in process and project management

• Capable of working independently as well as the ability to build relationships and interact with several Continental stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives

• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and negotiation skills

• Good written and oral communication skills in English language

Advanced experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
