Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a GTM MX Supervisor.
What you’ll do:
Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring that all Mexican legal entities and sites are properly utilizing the corporate Annex 24 software solution to manage temporary inventory balances according to IMMEX program and related certifications.
The supervisor will provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of the Annex 24 software solution and will serve as the primary contact and project leader for any software enhancements and upgrades related to Annex 24. This includes establishing and communicating requirements to the supplier, ensuring consistent and timely execution, and overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) at Eaton sites to ensure successful completion. Additionally, the incumbent will ensure that the system is properly maintained and effectively utilized.
This position is also responsible for developing, implementing, and governing work instructions, procedures, and policies necessary to properly maintain the parameters related to customs operations in Annex 24. The supervisor must define metrics and KPIs to measure overall effectiveness and, when required, lead continuous improvement projects.
Job Responsibilities
Owner of Annex 24 software solution for Eaton Mexico
Maintain Eaton sites informed of any changes in customs legislation related to Annex 24
Offer analytical support to implement processes and procedures for new acquisitions and projects
Assist the VAT certification team from the Annex 24 perspective
Ensure tools are properly used in the application of governmental programs
Stay up-to-date with laws and other customs regulations applicable to customs and trade operations
Demonstrate proficiency in defining and tracking KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of policies and procedures
Oversee the correct functionality and enhancements of the Annex 24 solution
Perform all job functions with adherence to ELM
Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's degree is required, with postgraduate studies being desirable
Years and area of experience required
- Candidates should have 5 to 7 years of experience in managing special trade programs, primarily focusing on the proper control of Annex 24 to ensure compliance and business continuity
Technical knowledge
Strong knowledge of the IMMEX program and Annex 24 solution, as well as Mexican foreign trade laws and regulations.
Experience with AEO and VAT certifications is required.
Fluency in English is necessary
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience in reconstructing import/export inventory controls
Strategic planning to ensure customs compliance and root cause analysis are also important skills.
