Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Thousand Oaks, California. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and resolving discrepancies. You will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the process of account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
• Handle accounts payable (AP) efficiently, ensuring all bills are paid on time
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) by tracking and resolving outstanding payments
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements
• Perform bookkeeping duties, including recording transactions, creating financial reports, and maintaining financial records
• Input data accurately and efficiently into the system
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation
• Assist with the month-end close process, including reconciling accounts and generating financial reports
• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks and financial management. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in account reconciliation processes
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Strong bookkeeping skills
• Proficient in data entry tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with month end close procedures
• Experience in payroll management
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
