Our commitment to smart building management began in 2008 with the successful integration and centralization of over 90% of our India portfolio's infrastructure (electrical, solar, HVAC, mechanical, fire & security, etc.). Job Title: Electrical/Energy expert and data analyst

Responsible for: Siemens' extensive global portfolio spans over 1300 locations across more than 60 countries. We specialize in energy and carbon monitoring and reporting, adhering to global standard requirements. Our focus extends to analyzing data at various utility equipment and system levels, facilitating digital transformation initiatives across Siemens' worldwide operations with comprehensive oversight. Our approach is centered on delivering value-driven insights derived from data.

Minimum Year of experience: > 6-8 years in a similar field Qualification: BE/ME/M tech Electrical; Certification in Energy efficiency topics e.g., Energy Manager or equivalent; Data analytics certification [ additional weightage]

Location: Mumbai [Siemens Kalwa]

Technical Skills: Proven experience in utility design or operation, Remote monitoring and reporting of various technical infrastructure. Experience in handling various cities in India or countries infrastructure remote monitoring, understanding of smart building. Basic data analysis experience.

Digital transformation project [ additional weightage]

Personal Attributes: The applicant must have the ability to organize, prioritize and produce results to meet deadlines and work in close collaboration with customers and stakeholders. Good team-working skills are a must. Able to interact with multiple people from different counties, with different time zone who is having different mindset and expertise level.

Major tasks:

1) Extensive knowledge of Electrical systems and their operation and latest market trends

2) Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting for energy and carbon performance.

3) Understanding of energy and carbon monitoring methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 50001, GRI Standards, CDP).

4) Basic understanding in energy modeling and simulation tools.

5) Experience in data analysis and interpretation for identifying energy and carbon saving opportunities.

6) Ability to develop and implement data-driven solutions for improving system performance.

7) Experience in driving digital transformation projects

8) Familiarity with digital technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, and data analytics.

9) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.

10) Excellent communication & presentation skills to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.

11) Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for value creation.

12) Proven experience in working with large, geographically dispersed teams.

13) Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

14) Strong organizational and time management skills.

15) Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus e.g., German.

16) Knowledge of international energy and carbon regulations.

17) Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

18) Passion for sustainability and driving positive change.
