McGovern Medical SchoolatUTHealth Houston is seeking full-time clinical faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in theDepartment of Internal Medicine,Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension.

The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals and model the best practices in clinical care through teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Participating in the Nephrology patient care duties in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. Locations include Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center and Lyndon B Johnson Hospital.

  • Participating in the education of residents, fellows, and medical students.

  • Supporting the growth and development of clinical and collaborative research.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or equivalent degree

  • Eligible for licensure in the state of Texas

  • Board-certified in Nephrology.

  • Experience is preferred but not required.
