Machine Operator

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $14 - $18 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Machine Operator:
Manufacture subassemblies, products, and other parts using a variety of equipment
Set up/Operation of Manual/CNC mills and lathes
Operate shear, saw, punches, and other machinery to fabricate parts to specifications
Use hand tools to fabricate parts to specifications
Inspect parts for quality using various measuring devices and other testing methods
Package and stage for shipment
Perform maintenance on machinery, tools, fixtures, etc. as instructed
Keep area clean and free of debris
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
High school graduate or GED with one (1) year experience in machining in a manufacturing environment
Previous CNC experience helpful
Safely operate machines and use tools of the trade
Ability to measure accurately using micrometer, vernier calipers, etc.
Basic math skills
Good communication and reading comprehension required
May be required to lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Regularly required to stand, walk and push wheeled carts.
Will be exposed to a moderate noise level
Personal protective equipment such as safety eyewear required to be worn at all times
Background check and drug screening required
