In this role, you will:

  • Execute comprehensive capacity planning strategies aligned with business objectives and Wells Fargo Technology service delivery goals.

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of advanced capacity monitoring tools and technologies.

  • Develop and implement a capacity management governance framework, incorporating risk assessment, performance management & forecasting and regulatory compliance.

  • Champion automation and orchestration solutions to streamline capacity provisioning, scaling and workload management processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various geographies to align capacity planning initiatives with business requirements and technical capabilities.

  • Drive capacity optimization initiatives, leveraging workload profiling and capacity forecasting.

  • Define and maintain component-level server metrics for capacity management reporting and analysis. Identify opportunities to improve reporting infrastructure.

  • Communicate technical concepts and capacity planning insights effectively to stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance metrics to identify trends, anomalies and areas for improvement.

  • Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area.

  • Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls.

  • Provide compliance risk and regulatory subject matter expertise for a defined set of moderate risk compliance program elements.

  • Recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.

  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers.

  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning and innovation within the capacity management team and across the organization.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in capacity management and IT infrastructure to drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of Risk Management or Business Controls experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Capacity Management, Capacity Planning, Capacity Design Optimization, Capacity Forecasting, Capacity Reporting.

  • 5+ year of IT Service Delivery Interface including IT System Monitoring, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Service Level Management and Availability Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, and education.

  • 5+ years of technical knowledge experience with IT Operating Systems, Storage Devices, Databases and Network.

  • 2+ years of experience with Enterprise monitoring and visualization tools like Prometheus/Grafana, AppDynamics, Google logging, Elasticsearch, Splunk, GitHub, Big Panda and Service Now

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.

  • 5+ years of experience in Process automation, machine learning, natural language processing, data engineering, Software engineering, and building automation pipelines.

  • Recent and demonstrated ability to influence management on technical or business solutions.

  • Experience in partnering with developers and architects from other teams to build solutions and resolve system and business problems.

  • Experience in leading / facilitating analysis of current systems and problem identification and resolution.

  • Experience with configuring and supporting application capacity and performance modeling for server/serverless assets and network devices in advanced capacity planning and modeling tools such as Helix Continuous Optimization or TrueSight Capacity Optimization by BMC.

  • Understanding of Agile practices and ability to work with Agile teams to define and track user stories.

  • Proven ability to understand and communicate effectively about technical, complex compliance standards and policies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning, collaborative team of professionals, including the ability to form relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with deploying automations at scale in cloud environments such as GCP or Azure.
