Duties: Reviewing security and vulnerability advisories, assessing risk, relevance, and priority and communicating findings. Identifying infrastructure-level vulnerabilities and patching across enterprise-wide assets along with validating successful remediation. Documenting, prioritizing and formally reporting asset and vulnerability state, along with remediation recommendations. Leveraging vulnerability database sources to understand each weakness, its probability and remediation options, including vendor-supplied fixes and workarounds. Providing support to explain risk and providing or facilitating remediation or mitigating consultation so the end user knows how to make a more secure system, achieve compliance. Communicating vulnerability results in a manner understood by technical and non-technical business units based on risk tolerance and threat to the business and gain support through influential messaging. Partnering and maintaining regular open lines of communications with Technology, Infrastructure and Operation to understand their plans and how Software/Infrastructure Security can securely enable them to execute their vision and business obligations. Analyzing vulnerabilities to validate them as confirmed or false positive, determine prioritization based on impact, and produce actionable reporting that enables rapid remediation. Conducting risk assessment for Secure by Design projects to meet the security control acceptance criteria for IT projects and applications. Providing guidance and approval for newly provision servers to ensure all open vulnerabilities are addressed prior to production deployment.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related IT field (or foreign equivalent degree).

Experience: 3 years of Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management experience including identifying, evaluating, treating, and reporting on security vulnerabilities in a large-scale organization (minimum 500 employees);performing in-depth vulnerability analysis using the Qualys suite of vulnerability management tools to assess core technology infrastructure (Windows, Linux, MacOS, AWS and Cloud Container); leveraging NIST Cybersecurity Framework to secure network infrastructure (routers, firewalls, switches, servers, load-balancers, domain name systems, and storage area networks) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSL,TLS, DNS, SNMP); reviewing emerging threats, control policies and alerts from MSFT Defender, CrowdStrike and Splunk to create actionable remediation plans; reporting using ServiceNow, Tableau and Power BI that enables proactive mitigation of security risks; and creating and tracking tasks using Confluence and JIRA.

Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.

Wage: \$95,950 to \$154,000 U.S. dollars per year
