Honeywell Lead Systems Engineer in Tempe, Arizona
Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Environmental Control Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Due to contractual requirements, a small subset of requisitions will require employees to be US Citizens, not US persons or on a work visa
The annual base salary range for this position is $141,000- 172,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math or Physical Sciences
8+ years of engineering experience in aerospace mechanical systems and equipment
US citizenship or permanent resident status due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE
Significant experience in aerospace environmental control systems (ECS) engineering including air management systems and vapor cycle systems
Requirement management experience
Significant experience in schedule, budget, and resource planning including tracking metrics
Strong management operating system that facilitates communication and drives execution
Understand our business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers
Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives
Ability to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
Diverse global teaming and collaboration
Experience in putting together proposal packages including: developing engineering estimates, defining system architecture, completing compliance matrices, and putting together technical response package
