Duties Description Under the general direction of the Director of Administration, the Project Director, G-31, will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entirety of DMV training activities including for DMV’s new DRIVES system. The incumbent will oversee the DMV’s Statewide Training Office and the newly created DRIVES Training Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Oversees development of DRIVES and overall DMV training strategies that meet DMV needs.• Establishes, maintains, and enforces best practices, standards, and processes as related to training.• Develops a comprehensive training strategies and plans based on business unit needs, DRIVES project requirements, training objectives, and available resources. • Allocates and manages training resources for all training programs and ensures the teams have necessary skills and training required for to execute all training activities.• Develops standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for all training programs.• Oversees the creation of detailed training curriculums, scripts and training data, ensuring they align with the requirements and training objectives. • Develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to identify and address risks and potential challenges across all training programs.• Monitors the progress of the execution of all training programs.• Develops practices and procedures for monitoring training completion and proficiency.• Oversees operational use of multiple learning management systems. • Maintains effective communication with all stakeholders and reports out to the Director of Administration and/or executive management as needed. • Performs the full range of supervisory activities.• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Eleven years of training experience. Two years of the experience must have been at a managerial level.ORAn associate degree and nine years of the required experience as described above.ORA bachelor’s degree and seven years of the required experience as described above.ORA master’s degree and six years of the required experience as described above.
