Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Manager Global Procurement - Facilities, Capital and Logistics in Tarrytown, New York

The Manager, Global Procurement will be responsible to support and assist in the development of the Sourcing strategies for Facilities, Capital projects and Logistics with a focus on Construction and Facility Operations. This positon will work collaboratively with the Real Estate and Facility Management project management teams and business unit partners to competitively assess the local/global supply base’s capabilities and qualifications. The Manager will lead the supplier relationship and will monitor ongoing performance and service delivery.

A typical day might include:

  • Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the global Facilities, Capital and Logistics Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.

  • Works closely with partners to lead discussions related to the FC&L Categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and partners.

  • Lead negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities for the Facilities, Capital and Logistics Category as assigned.

  • Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.

  • Supports Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Facilities, Capital and Logistics categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the category team.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.

  • Runs category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate facility maintenance operations, new construction project strategies, logistics initiatives, and GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.

  • Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department and partner leadership teams that are aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.

  • Coaches proficiency on procurement technical skills among global procurement team

This role may be for you if you have:

  • Solicit and analyzes requests for proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure contract objectives are delivered; ensures compliance with pricing agreements and internal policies/procedures

  • Contract formation and contract management skills

  • Construction Cost knowledge – Cost Plus Fixed Price, Lump Sum, Unit Price

  • Confirmed experience in negotiating, reviewing and handling client requirements; contracts; policies and procedures

  • Proven track record to get results in an expedient manner, quickly gathering information and consensus along with making sound decisions

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated capability to lead a supply base and increase value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost effectiveness. A bachelor's degree is required. This role requires being onsite a minimum of 3 days per week in Tarrytown, NY and a relocation assistance package is available for those who qualify.

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually)

$110,900.00 - $181,100.00
