Primary Responsibilities:
Performs article inspection.
Performs repair process (including cleaning of the unit).
Performs final test (for the trained model unit)
Supports on OVENS station for the repair of all units
Supports other homesite (NL) for the repair processing
Supports in maintaining good 5S on Repair Station area
Supports in Ovens production as needed
Performs investigating on the trained model unit
Supports on performing maintenance in OVENS and OCM station
Supports on capability evaluation if have new model for OCM
Demonstrates a familiarization with the principle elements of their assigned duties by providing a verbaldescription of those duties.
Understand the basic principles of how a unit operates and know its most common causes for failure.
Know customer requirements and company policies and procedures.
Recognize repairable units and match to their respective repair orders.
Track, check and disassemble incoming units to determine what service or repairs may be necessary.
Soldering process authorized
Inspect condition of equipment and components for proper maintenance under warranty agreements.
Clean and maintain work areas and shop equipment.
Clean and test parts.
Operate test equipment to measure performance levels of electrical and mechanical components.
Order replacement components and parts as needed.
Track and log repair work and completed work orders.
Basic mechanical assembly and disassembling skills.
Basic electro-mechanical device operation, disassembly and assembly.
Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical unit operation.
Ability to understand and use simple aviation and ovens/ocm terminology.
Cognizant of applicable regulations, customer/manufacturers requirements associated with the units.
Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
