Job Responsibilities:

• Manages team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical/Business Support or Engineers, with flexibility to determine how assignment are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work). Sets day-to-day goals of objectives for team member. Problems faced may be difficult, but typically are not complex. Explains policies, practices, and procedures.

• Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team, with direct impact on the intermediate or short-term operational result of the work area. Typically does not have budget or P&L accountability, but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget (e.g., overtime for staff).

• Problems and issues faced are general and may require understanding of broader set of issues, but are not usually complex. Problems typically involve consideration of a single site, geography, product or costumer. Problems typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with some logical analysis of the issue. Responsible for making modifications in system and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area.

• Communicates with parties within and outside of own department, which may include external costumers or vendors. Explains policies, practices and procedures of the work area to others within the organization. May work to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies and procedures.

• Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performances and rewards decisions for direct reports. May manage a team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders. Leads, directs and review the work of team members in order to accomplish operational plans and results.

• Understand basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution. Typically requires specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.

Qualifications:

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in related field and minimum 3 years experience.

• Typically requires a Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

• With experience in Project Management and has effective communication.
