Captain Construction is seeking experienced Precast Concrete Specialists to join our construction team in Guam. This role requires expertise in mold fabrication, precast concrete production, and on-site installation. Candidates must be able to read and interpret mold blueprints, fabricate molds, pour and finish concrete, and install precast components according to project specifications. This position is physically demanding and requires a strong understanding of formwork, reinforcement, and structural integrity. #### Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mold schematics for precast concrete elements. - Fabricate and assemble custom molds for precast concrete components using wood, steel, or composite materials. - Install reinforcements (rebar, mesh, anchors) within the molds before pouring. - Prepare concrete mix, pour into molds, vibrate, and cure to ensure high-quality precast elements. - Demold and finish precast components, ensuring precision and structural stability. - Transport, position, and install precast elements at the construction site using appropriate lifting and rigging techniques. - Inspect and repair molds as needed to maintain quality production standards. - Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery for mold fabrication and installation. - Follow OSHA safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment. #### Requirements and Qualifications: - Minimum 2+ years of experience in precast concrete mold fabrication, production, and installation. - Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings. - Proficiency in woodworking, welding, or metalwork for mold fabrication. - Experience with reinforcement installation, concrete mixing, pouring, and curing techniques. - Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and safe handling of precast components. - Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (heavy lifting, hot/humid conditions). - Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety standards. - Legal work authorization in the U.S. (H-2B visa sponsorship available if no qualified local applicants are found). #### Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in large-scale precast manufacturing. - Certification in concrete finishing, welding, or construction safety.
