JPMorgan Chase Trade & Working Capital Operations - Change & Strategy Lead Covering Americas Region in Tampa, Florida

As a Trade & Working Capital Operations - Change & Strategy Lead Covering Americas Region within the Trade & Working Capital team at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a key role in formulating and executing strategic business priorities for Trade and Working Capital Operations and building a strong governance framework.

You will be focused on developing & delivering business solutions related to Trade Finance products offered by banks, including transactions such as import & export bills, foreign bill collection, banker's acceptances/reimbursements, letters of credit and open account trading. You will also provide transactional-based expertise to the business to ensure accurate and timely conduct in accordance with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) guidelines, bank procedures & trade finance policy manual. You will additionally manage headcount planning and review process along with key financial targets for the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in formulating and executing strategic business priorities for Trade and Working Capital Operations and building a strong governance framework

  • Monitor strategic projects for successful delivery, steer regular governance meetings, communication and updates to senior management

  • Manage headcount planning and review process along with key financial targets for the organization

  • Develop schedules for monthly Business Key performance indicators (KPI) & Key risk indicators (KRI) reporting & proactive approach to address unfavorable trends

  • Navigate a matrix organization and provide leadership to achieve project objectives

  • Identify project risks, effectively escalating and developing remediation plans

  • Administer communications for the Trade & working Capital Operations organization

  • Organize weekly management meeting, town halls, offsites

  • Perform any other ad-hoc reporting/analysis and strategic projects

  • Support a wide range of stakeholders (Product, technology, Sales, Client service)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in the Financial Services industry

  • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to know when a deep dive approach is appropriate

  • Analytical skills with the ability to anticipate issues and spur initiatives

  • Leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experience

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with business and technical parts of the organization

  • Can operate in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and can prioritize one's own and teams work to achieve them

  • Ability to partner with demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations while developing strong working relationships with them

  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously

  • Understanding of operational risks and related controls, audit and internal control framework

  • Confidence to challenge, and be challenged, whilst remaining a positive 'can-do' outlook

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Business knowledge on Trade products is preferred
