Bausch + Lomb Manager / Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in Tampa, Florida

The Manager/Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis , oversees monthly closing, annual cost standards, budget development, forecasts, variance analysis, and balance sheet integrity. They ensure compliance with internal audits and oversee cost accounting. They serve as a finance liaison for analysis and project support across departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate annual budget process, including forecasts/outlooks.

  • Oversee cost setting for product standards and review with site management.

  • Provide support for annual budget presentation.

  • Coordinate monthly closing process, reviewing journal entries and financial statements.

  • Collect and review balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Prepare and issue monthly/quarterly reports.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis for month-end close and strategic projects.

  • Update Capital Project and plant CIP projects with financial justification.

  • Ensure accuracy of assumptions and financial savings.

  • Incorporate savings into forecasts and budgets.

  • Oversee asset management and project closeouts.

  • Manage monthly obsolete inventory review and cycle count guidance.

  • Serve as site compliance coordinator, ensuring internal audit compliance.

  • Supervise Financial Analysts.

  • Handle other tasks, projects, and meetings.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5 years or more financial / cost accounting experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required

  • 2 years or more of supervisory experience preferred.

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, accounting principles, standard cost accounting, inventory management and accounting processes.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform variance analysis and financial reporting.

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft, SAP and HFM.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team of financial analysts and collaborate across departments.

  • Knowledge of internal audit processes and compliance requirements.
