General Responsibilities:
Support and provide guidance to the Division on a functionality specialty, practice area or operational segment. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource. Provide input on policies/programs and training. Provide direction and oversee division brownfield efforts including grant writing, project scope implementation and development, work assignments, reporting and closeout and compliance of Brownfield related projects. Work with Program Manager and local environmental management teams to develop brownfield specific strategic marketing plans.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for partnering with offices to further the development of a functional specialty or operational segment in a region or division.
Provide guidance, oversight and expertise on an area of specialty.
Develop and recommend policies, practices and procedures in specialty area.
Serve as a subject matter expert, resource and point of contact to office personnel within the region and division.
Partner and collaborate with other regional experts to drive uniformity and development of specialty across all regions.
Assist local teams in the execution of growth strategies and actions necessary to achieve the strategic and annual operations plans.
Participate in/assist and sometimes lead client development and pursuit activities.
Develop/deliver training in area of expertise to offices in region.
Provide technical support on projects as needed.
Prepare proposals, qualifications and/or responses to request for proposals to present company credentials for potential projects.
Assist with programmatic reporting, and project tasks of federal brownfield projects.
Assist with the State brownfields program including brownfield designations, brownfield site rehabilitation agreements, voluntary cleanup tax credits and projects funded through FDEP’s (Florida Department of Environmental Protection) Targeted Brownfields Assessment funds.
Assist in the development of projects, business and clients.
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline practiced by the firm or related discipline and a minimum of 8 years’ related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 12 years’ related experience.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Preferred Certification:
- Professional License in area of specialty or discipline.
