The Quality Business Process Analyst reviews assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identifies opportunities to improve process and manages improvement projects for HEDIS, CAHPS and HOS strategic initiatives. Investigates non-standard requests and problems, makes presentations to direct management and completes projects on time and within scope.
This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinates and completes projects across various functional areas that support Quality campaign initiatives.
Leads Project Management initiatives as project assignments and / or identified because of a business process review.
Performs moderately complex business analysis and project management.
Tracks and reports on project status to colleagues and senior management.
Responsible for documentation management (development and revisions) of assigned processes: workflows, policies and procedures, letters, etc.
Synthesizes data, develops recommendations, and reviews findings with business leadership.
Prepares review documentation including Microsoft Visio process maps and PowerPoint presentations. (Create & Design – not using templates)
Possesses moderate to high EXCEL skills that include, but are not limited to creating pivot tables, v-look ups, and large data set bumps.
Creates a process management system to monitor key performance indicators.
1Serves as a liaison between Quality and IT to assist and alter business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancements and implementations, even acting as Project Manager where experience is warranted.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years of age OR older
1-3+ years’ experience with process improvement initiatives required.
1+ years of HEDIS/ Star experience
3+ years associated business experience with health care industry
Proven ability to successfully conceptualize an initiative, develop a plan and execute the plan through implementation required.
Experience in mobilizing teams and maintaining motivation to accomplish goals under stringent timelines required.
Ability to interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of executive management required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint (Design and Create – not just using templates) and Outlook required.
Possesses moderate to high Microsoft EXCEL skills that include, but are not limited to creating pivot tables & v-look ups
Large data set bumps required
Working knowledge of Share Point required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management experience
PMP or Six Sigma certification
Medical/clinic background highly
Experience with CAHPS and HOS
Telecommuting Requirements:
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
