Aerotek Manual Machinist in Tampa, Florida
We are looking for an experienced MIG/Stick Welder with a strong foundation in fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating components for boom lifts, cranes, and truck frames. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and Stick welding on boom lifts, cranes, and truck frames.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Measure and cut materials accurately using a measuring tape.
Prepare materials and set up welding machines for various projects.
Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment as needed.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a MIG/Stick Welder, with a focus on fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in using a measuring tape and other measuring tools.
Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
Ability to set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
