The opportunity
Our Leadership Development team is looking for a dynamic leader for our Coaching Team focused on leadership development by empowering individuals as they rise to meet the challenges of increasing leadership complexity with clarity, confidence, and impact.
As the Leader, you’ll be responsible for working with various stakeholders including Leadership Development Leads, EY Global, other EY US Talent functions and business leaders to: lead a team of coaches to serve as a holistic coaching center of excellence for our business, develop and maintain a clear coaching offering strategy, ensuring high quality impact, and meeting ever evolving business needs, through a variety of coaching modalities such as signature 1:1 executive coaching, group coaching, utilizing AI supported coaching, and consulting on coaching skills development of all EY professionals. You are excited about the possibilities and “next gen” of coaching and the impact it can have as a key driver of leadership growth.
You’ll also be a member of the Leadership Development Leadership Team and contribute to building a strong foundation for EY’s leadership development philosophy and culture as well as deploy creative and impactful leadership development coaching offerings that you will expand and evolve over time.
You will lead a dynamic, national team of experienced coaches providing coaching to priority Partner populations across the US, including those Partners that are part of leadership development programs for future leadership roles. EY leaders are called to be more agile and shift their development to sustainably lead, grow and drive the business. In this role, a portion of your time will be dedicated to serving as a coach practitioner focusing on creating these transformative shifts through 1:1 coaching engagements, group coaching engagements, and potential additional modalities.
You will actively seek feedback on the client experience and impact of the coaching engagements across US and gather meaningful thematic insights. As required, you will actively engage internally and externally as thought leader in the field of coaching, remaining apprised of the leading-edge methodologies and coaching enablement strategies across the profession.
Your key responsibilities
Leading team of 8-10 Executive Coaches to serve as Leadership Development Coaching COE
Providing executive coaching as defined in the US and LATAM regions’ coaching strategy to both, senior leaders and leadership teams, managing a rolling book of business of approximately 25% of your time.
Delivering exceptional coaching experiences that strengthen the Leadership Development coaching brand and generate growth opportunities for the practice
Seek out and keep informed of top of coaching trends and potential application to EY Leadership coaching
Actively seek client feedback both informally and formally throughout coaching engagement
Uphold ICF Competencies and Code of Ethics
Teaming across the coaching team, contribute to team projects and tasks, share experiences and best practices and support each other for the team to grow and deliver exceptional services
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key Talent stakeholders to understand and manage the demand for leadership and team coaching
Curating coaching practice impact and insights and share themes with key business and Talent stakeholders
Where required, preparing and delivering coaching events/workshops, participate in team interviews, create presentations, agendas and other relevant materials or work flexibly as part of project teams as a subject matter resource (SMR)
The regional environment needs your willingness to work alternative hours or travel if required.
Lead the operations team to manage pipeline of clients and oversee resource management planning
maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders to manage pipeline and strategically deploy coaching capacity
make strategic sourcing decisions on how to serve coaching demand (insource/outsource)
managing / overseeing relationships with vendors if you plan on leveraging global MSAs for skillsoft and LCP in New US/LATAM development programs
To qualify for the role you must have
Experience leading an executive coaching practice
10 plus years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years of experience of coaching senior business executives, ideally in professional service firms
ICF PCC credential and in-depth coaching education.
Fluent in English both verbal and written.
Experienced to work and coach virtually in a culturally diverse environment.
Excellent teaming to collaborate effectively within the team, across the talent ecosystem and the wider firm.
Respected ability to cope with ambiguity in a complex and agile environment.
Lead with a growth mindset and the ability to create a growth-oriented coaching culture.
Strong communication skills for sharing thought leadership to strengthen our brand and reputation, both internally and externally.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Accreditation to work with “The Leadership Circle Profile” for both, individuals and teams
Certified in the “Immunity to Change” approach, 1:1 and teams

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $123,600 to $238,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $148,400 to $270,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
