  • Key missions of the position:

  • Lead Industrial engineering to create the standard for MOST, Manhours, Capacity, Ergonomics, standardization, Layout planning

  • Deliver year on year productivity improvement

  • Co-ordinate systems & Audits

  • Special Process Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Establish time standards for existing and new products

  • Capacity Planning and Drive Capacity Enhancement (SMH Improvement) projects

  • Arrive at plant capacity and identify bottlenecks

  • Optimize process flow through layout

  • Drive MOST Study & Implementation

  • Drive Productivity Improvement with Kaizen blitz event management

  • Manpower and Layout/Footprint planning

  • Implement Kanban system

  • Automation (LCA, Jidoka, Conveyorization)

  • Drive Ergonomics Improvement

  • Budget Hours monitoring

  • Department level monthly report preparation against each identified KPIs

  • Setting SMH benchmark through MOST studies

  • Provide training to front level executives and shop employees on MOST and Basic Industrial Engg

  • Drive Performance measurement of all lines through OEE, Output / person

  • Develop and maintain project plans and budget profiles to ensure delivery of milestones to agreed cost targets and timescales

  • Responsible for Line Capacity consolidation updates to CFT

  • Identify and justify capital equipment investment

  • Analyse and improve material usage

  • Legal and statutory inputs for CTE/CTO and maintain PED legatrix metrics

  • Coordinate for Customer, statutory audits and take necessary action on PED BBS points

  • Capacity and capability analysis and inputs to STRAP and SIOP

  • Co-ordinate Systems & Audits for the department

  • Special process Co-ordinator

  • Evaluation (risk assessment) of concessions involving the special process
