Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager in Tallinn, Estonia

As a Senior Product Manager in the M365 Trusted Platform group, you will have a pivotal role in steering impactful initiatives aligning on shared compliance requirements for company-wide services. You'll partner with engineering teams to develop a roadmap and strategy for incorporating these requirements into the services in alignment with Microsoft’s broader efforts. This role offers a deep dive into the workings of M365, Azure, and other product offerings, along with the flexibility of working remotely up to 100%.

Responsibilities

  • You will work across multiple feature areas as directed, helping to define and influence the long-term vision and strategy for feature areas based on deep understanding of customer needs and Microsoft’s business goals and strategy. You will distill the long-term strategy into a product roadmap.

  • You will own or partner with others in driving business impact across the organization and track success criteria and performance metrics.

  • You will identify data-informed, short-term, and long-term investment opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and prioritize investments in consultation with cross-functional partners for multiple feature areas to support achievement of success criteria.

  • You will influence and engage with cross-functional partners, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to gather input and garner support for the vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple feature areas.

  • You will help define the feature set and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver desired functionality and product vision.

  • You will identify any gaps in a platform, service, or process that are impediments to achieving the team’s goals.

  • You will communicate status to stakeholders and leadership regularly and proactively communicate any roadblocks for successful completion of milestones.

  • You will partner with others to incorporate best practices into products and existing processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development .

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid technical problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to interview engineers on technical subject matter.

  • Familiarity with security and compliance in cloud computing environments.

  • Experience working across geographies.
