EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Manages Active Directory domain, group policies, sites and services, and domains and trusts, DNS, DHCP
Manages Windows servers and installed software
Manages Windows file servers and SharePoint Online shares and permissions
Manages Exchange Server environment and Exchange Online
Monitors and troubleshoots system performance issues
Assists with developing, implementing, and maintaining up-to-date Division IT processes, procedures, and job aids.
Completes tasks, tickets, and any other requests related to ensuring staff access to the Division’s information technology resources.
Installs/Troubleshoots computers, peripherals, and other hardware.
Performs Microsoft 365 specified duties.
Assists with installing, evaluating, troubleshooting or testing, Microsoft 365 modules or other Cloud applications.
Prepares and reviews reports.
Supports network, hardware, and software/applications for the Division’s offices located throughout the state.
Assists with resolving issues impacting access to VR business applications.
Manages onboarding/offboarding processes, including account creation, role assignments, and access reviews.
Conducts periodic access reviews, generate compliance reports, and supports IT related audits.
Performs other duties as required, assigned, or delegated.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree from a college or university and four years of experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming; or
A bachelor's degree from a college or university with a major in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and three years of experience as described above; or
A master's degree from a college or university in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and two years of experience as described above; or
A doctorate from a college or university in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and one year of experience as described above; or
Five years of experience as described above and either (1) completion of a 720 classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or community college in an area of data processing (excluding data entry), or (2) 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college course work from an institution which includes four courses in computer science or management information systems.
Experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. Completion of a one-year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing (excluding data entry) can substitute for one year of the required experience.
