Capital Health Plan Registered Nurse (Urgent Care) in Tallahassee, Florida

Schedule/Hours:Three 12-hour rotating shifts (including every other weekend, evenings and some holidays).
Job Summary:
- Formulates and implements plan of care for patients telephoning or visiting Urgent Care. Provides Urgent Care nursing services for CHP members.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.
- Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
- Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and develop health improvement programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must obtain a Multistate Nursing License within 3 months of hire or appointment.
Basic Life Support Certification. Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Ability to learn and use Windows-based software system to document care of members.
