IBM Solution Architect -RegTech in Taipei, Taiwan

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Application Architect, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain regulatory technology solutions that ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards within the financial industry. You will collaborate closely with regulatory experts, software developers, and stakeholders to architect robust and scalable applications that meet both regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Specifically, you will be responsibility to:

  • System Architecture Design: Design and develop the architecture for regulatory technology solutions, considering scalability, reliability, and compliance requirements.

  • Technology Selection and Integration: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for building RegTech applications. Integrate regulatory compliance features into existing systems or third-party applications seamlessly.

  • Solution Implementation: Develop user interfaces for RegTech applications using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js). Design and develop server-side components and APIs to support the functionality of RegTech applications.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory experts, software developers, testers, and business stakeholders.

  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop and implement testing strategies to validate the functionality and compliance of RegTech applications.

  • Documentation and Training: Document architectural designs, technical specifications, and compliance frameworks for reference and future maintenance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Java Spring Boot and Java Web Application full-end design experience (project experience: more than 2 projects)

  • Have experience in Java Spring Boot development (project experience: more than 4 projects)

  • Familiar with Vue or Angular in front-end technology

  • More than 5 years of work experience

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Microservice and Certification in any of the Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, RetHat Openshift

  • Actual participating in agile project environment, especially Scrum process

  • Fluent in Chinese reading, listening, writing, and speaking/fluent in English reading and writing
