WTW Systems Analyst Lead in Taguig, Philippines

This is an exciting opportunity to join Outsourcing NNA, as the Systems Analyst Lead in Manila within the Technology Engineering and Delivery function.

You will be leading the Manila team of Systems Analysts. A high level of solution expertise is required with a hands-on approach to leading a System Analysis team. You will closely collaborate with the UK Systems Analyst Lead to champion the optimization of system efficiency.

You will be joining a large team with diverse skills and experience. The job requires a motivated individual who is experienced in taking responsibility. A highly capable lead systems analyst who can independently deliver results on both a generic product level as well as client specific projects.

The Role

  • Line Management for the Manila System Analysis sub-function.

  • Works closely with the UK Systems Analyst Lead to ensure all systems analysts regardless of location are able to deliver the right scalable product offering.

  • Helps team self-manage towards development and innovation, guided by the product and technology roadmap and stakeholders’ expectations.

  • Helps team understand and embody the Product vision and business needs for a successful, low-defect, on-time product release.

  • Work in a collaborative manner within a high-pressure environment to develop key relationships.

  • Works closely with the Business Solutions team and Solution Architects to ensure that solutions are designed in line with the generic functional architecture principles.

  • Builds and supports a culture of trust and transparency where collaboration is fostered within the team

  • Identify key improvements continually to help drive efficiencies.

  • Fosters a culture where risks and issues are managed at the lowest responsible level by communicating and collaborating with team members.

  • Supports building a Community of Practice to enhance continual learning.

  • Helps team members serve as a champion of quality for their scrum team and helps support the BA Community of Practice, knowledge sharing sessions, lunch & learn, brown bag sessions, and other learning sessions.

  • Helps coach team members to continually develop deep functional and technical skills.

  • Actively advances technical skills through participation in online, instructor-led or self-taught training.

  • Recognises the importance of adhering to quality standards and work procedures to maintain the integrity of the systems under test.

The Requirements

Knowledge/Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree would be beneficial and extensive experience in a technology related discipline, such as IT or Engineering is required

  • Relevant experience as a Systems Analyst on large and complex projects within an insurance, claim processing or pensions industry.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience on systems analysis and in providing high-level solution designs

  • Preferably has good years of experience working with a scrum team, development and architecture team

  • Skilled at producing application and solution documentations

  • Strong analytical skills with good data analysis experience

  • Ideally, familiar with web architecture, web services and object oriented designs

  • Strong business/client engagement skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of Relational Databases (to include having SQL Skills)

  • Ability to influence, network and collaborate with stakeholders.Convincing at presenting proposals by way of high level solutions to end users and/or stake holders.

  • Able to grasp new concepts quickly, demonstrating understanding of the implications of technical issues on business requirements and / or operations, and ability to work independently and as a member of the team
