Google Country Operations Manager, Strategy and Operations (English, Spanish) in São Paulo, Brazil

Minimum qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with project management and cross-functional stakeholder management.

  • Experience within a regulated industry, or government or public policy consulting.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building, leading and executing with diverse cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.

  • Excellent organizational leadership skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, and collaborate with and influence teams across boundaries.

  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic, and communication skills.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role, you will ensure Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. You will set a go-to-market strategy and ensure flawless execution and operations against that strategy.

  • Develop, lead and support the execution of Google’s regional country-specific Brand and Reputation plan for Spanish-speaking LATAM.

  • Partner with regional/country leadership and cross-functional areas to define priority initiatives and set Brand and Reputation priorities.

  • Run regional Velocity cadence/meetings to ensure involvement of the right stakeholders.

  • Build Velocity leadership within Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP), Go-To-Market and other areas.

  • Support annual planning, resource allocation and identification, business case development for investments in Brand and Reputation through support and strategic thought leadership.
