Boeing is seeking an Associate Business Operations Specialist, reporting to the Business Operations Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos, Brazil office.

The Associate Business Operations Specialist will join the BBETC - Boeing Brazil Engineering & Technology Center to assists in the development and integration of strategies and processes to meet long range business goals and other key operational aspects that drive value delivery, innovation and productivity. In addition, you will cultivate relationships, communicate and integrate across local and global engineering teams, functional teams, as well as other key stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and integration of strategies, initiatives and lean processes to meet business goals, including project management support;

  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis (including cost related) with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals;

  • Supports developing and nurturing global relationships and partnerships with leadership, stakeholders and peers, including cross functional integration;

  • Supports the coordination, with direct guidance, of the commitments with key stakeholders to fulfill strategies;

  • Supports processes mapping, assessment and lean initiatives implementation;

  • Assists more experienced personnel with the identification of risk and opportunity potential, developing response planning and supporting roadblocks removal;

  • Meets with leadership to gain approval and support strategic decision making;

  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to track status of commitments, metrics and key strategic initiatives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in accredited course of study

  • Must be legally able to work in Brazil

  • Must have advanced/fluent proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in the English language

  • Strong analytic skills with experience using qualitative and quantitative data to develop insights and metrics to support strategic decision making;

  • Working experience with Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Experience in Aerospace industry

  • Experience in business operations, strategy or project management

  • Financial and business acumen (including financial planning, budgeting and forecasting)

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (EazyBI, PowerBI, Tableau, etc)

  • Experience in integrating tools such as Jira / ADO with Project, etc

  • Knowledge of Project Management frameworks (ex. PMBOK) and agile methods
