Job Summary:Responsible for the overall operation of the Clinical Chemistry services provided by the department of Pathology. Participate in the practice of pathology and other duties as deemed necessary and assigned by the Department Chairman or Director including involvement in the on-call schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in Chemistry or related field required. DOH Certificate of Qualification in Chemistry or eligible required. A minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience, including 2 years of experience in Clinical Chemistry. Laboratory permit categories required/eligible: Clinical Chemistry, Blood pH and Gases, Endocrinology, Oncology-Soluble Tumor Markers,Toxicology-1. Blood Lead-Comprehensive 2. Clinical Toxicology, Urinalysis, Urine Pregnancy Testing, Therapeutic Substance Monitoring/Quantitative Toxicology.
