Actalent Assistant Project Manager in Syracuse, New York

Description:

Client is seeking a Traveling Assistant Project Manager for their upcoming manufacturing plant in Massena NY.

  • Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

  • Assisting PM in financial responsibility of the project; cost forecasting, subcontractor, material and vendor control.

  • Support to the PM who is responsible for the timely execution and management of the owner and subcontractor change order process.

  • Helps develop and maintain relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors and vendors to help develop new opportunities.

  • Assists PM in plan, schedule and administer project meetings with client, subcontractors, vendors and field personnel.

  • Helping to manage and oversee timely and accurate completion of all projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Schedule is 5 10's for this project

  • The company is currently looking into housing for the team up in Massena

  • All travel will be covered and GSA Rate Per Diem will be included.

  • Competent computer skills including full use of Procore as well as Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project, Project Management and Project Financial software platforms.

  • Experience in At-Risk work (General Construction and/or CM At-Risk) is a plus
