Job Summary: Antwerpen Chevrolet is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Sykesville, Maryland. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $60,000 to $75,000 per year, paid biweekly. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for interacting with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and matching them with the right vehicle from our extensive inventory. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive salary of $60,000 to $75,000 per year, paid biweekly - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and sick leave - Retirement savings plan with company match - Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company - Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services Responsibilities: - Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Understand and anticipate the needs and preferences of customers - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our inventory, including features, options, and pricing - Conduct test drives and effectively communicate vehicle features and benefits to customers - Negotiate and close sales deals while maintaining customer satisfaction - Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure accurate record-keeping - Conduct follow-up calls and maintain relationships with past and potential customers - Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall dealership goals Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred - Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a dealership setting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers - Proficient computer skills and experience with CRM software - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Must pass a background check and drug screening - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus EEOC statement: Antwerpen Automotive is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
