The Opportunity: Senior Claims Consultant
We are inviting experienced Senior Claims Consultants to apply for a role within our experienced claims team, supporting a portfolio of global and corporate clients.
The successful person within this team will provide clients full claims management support from start to finish, in an advisory role.
This individual will take on the responsibility of being a subject matter expert to the team, and wider company, offering training and support in a number of areas.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing claims across a range of risk classes including Property and Professional Indemnity – you need to have good experience in at least one of these risk classes
Collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure open communication
Maintaining and building relationships with insurers and the global Aon network
Reserving and investigating initial claims
Timely lodgment of claims
Providing advice to clients with respect to claim mitigation and claim management
Providing effective presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
Managing the claim lifecycle from notification through to closure
Developing strong client relationships to help facilitate successful outcomes for clients
Developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships including service providers, brokers and underwriters
About you:
Specialist in Property or Medical Claims or at least 4 years legal background
Experience taking on additional role responsibilities with the ability to take on senior tasks
A strong customer service focus
Strong prioritization and time management skills
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
Outcome focused – able to overcome obstacles and deliver designated outcomes
