AT&T Marketplace Development Director in Sydney, Australia
Xandr (formerly AppNexus) is seeking a Marketplace
Development Director to join the Australia Commercial team within our rapidly
growing Sydney team. The Marketplace Development Manager is responsible for
developing and promoting new use cases that leverage the unique strengths of
the Xandr platform to key buyers such as Agencies and Trading Desks.
The Marketplace Development Director will collaborate with
internal stakeholders to develop new revenue opportunities for Xandr clients,
leveraging a platform with both sell-side and buy-side features. This role can
include enhancing the value of working media, curating supply and adding
reporting insights for Marketers and Agencies.

Conduct thorough market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify businessopportunities
Plan, oversee and lead projects from ideation through to completion
Create and deliver consultative sales presentations using industry knowledge, markettrends, and Xandr solutions
Drive external and internal market knowledge and insights
Work closely with internal teams (Product, Commercial, Services, legal and Marketing) toensure a united vision when corresponding with clients
Develop best in class communication decks tailored to client and their needs
Represent Xandr in the online marketplace and become an active brand advocate
Actively promote Xandr’s offerings and value to clients to identify ways of driving morerevenue
Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, and best practicesProven ability to solve problems creatively
Experience with strategic prospects, consultative selling approach, ad sales and contract negotiation
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives with a team approach
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Outstanding communication, presentation, and organisational skills; process-oriented, yet entrepreneurial
Demonstrable passion for mastering new technologies including digital media selling, MySQL, APIs or Python
Strong ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceIn-depth experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)Beneficial: Proven experience in the ad-tech industry and technologies that empower publishers to efficiently sell their ad inventory (Prebid, Ad Servers, SSPs, DMPs)
