JOB TITLE职位名称: Sustaining Manager

JOB PROFILE职位级别: M2 – Hardware Engineering

DEPARTMENT部门: R&D SZ

Job Responsibility 岗位职责:

  • Lead and take accountability to drive team on all sustaining projects, including projects to avoid line down, to improve post market improvements as well as to improve productivity improvement.

  • Take leadership and ownership of sustaining projects, including exercising responsibility for all aspects of project execution and working across organizational boundaries to ensure requirements from different stakeholders being meet.

  • Regular sustaining update and presentation with management .

  • Lead & Drive EOL/supply chain line down/Regulatory compliance projects OTD to secure business revenue .

  • Lead & Drive KPPM reduction post-market improvement projects to meet target.

  • Lead & Drive FIT projects on target.

  • Lead & Drive hot issues solving to ensure OTD and product quality improvement.

  • Run regular core team review on projects and manage funnel with balancing on priority setting and DRA to ensure site KPI being meet , act as decision maker for complex problems by balance requirements from cross-function representative.

  • Balances cross-functional tradeoffs by challenging requirements to optimize for the success of different projects.

  • Drive sustaining mechanism continuous improvement by leveraging DBS tools.

Qualification任职资格:

Functional Knowledge 职能知识:

  • Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field.

  • /或广度的专业知识

  • Good engineering background on sustaining management , design optimization project on post marketing quality , or relevant FIT projects development .

  • Familiar with design change process, sustaining management, good understanding on supply chain & operation management, post-market sustainment

  • Have strong project management skillset with rich experience and good capability on building plan , setting milestone , resource management , process control etc.

  • Strong systematic thinking and excellent logical mindset . Have good capability on problem analysis & solving. Familiar with relevant tools , such as cause effect diagram , cause chain analysis ..

  • Strong business mindset and management insights to drive decision and continuous improvement.

  • Outstanding capability on cross function and cross site global team communication. Good presentation skill . Demonstrated behavior of both self- driven and team driver as target-orientation.

  • Prefer engineering expertise in instrument development, complex system integration such as optical , fluidics , electronic , mechanics.. Familiar with Flow cytometer field is plus. System engineering , Electronic engineering background is plus.

  • Be positive, optimistic, open mind with facing changes and challenges . Strong team spirit and creative thinking to drive execution

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services

  • Be familiar with design change process and post-market surveillance process of medical device development, IVD is preferred
