Google Regional Director, DCDE Construction Delivery in Sunnyvale, California
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Policy, Finance, Real Estate, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of related experience in building and executing asset strategies in the context of the North America West Region.
Experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary infrastructure and high tech projects in a leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in infrastructure, data center technology, industrial class electrical and cooling technology, or other related areas of technical expertise.
Work experience with data center equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems and understanding of start up/commissioning processes.
Experience in collocation agreements, site selection for industrial-scale projects, real estate evaluation, acquisition, development, construction, utility agreements management, energy challenges, implementing clean energy initiatives, or financial modeling.

You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements -- even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives, and drive implementation.
Through your leadership, you use your technical expertise to lead cross-functional teams to develop infrastructure improvements. You will oversee the construction and delivery of our growing network of Data Centers. Involved in shaping Global Data Center strategies and responsible for regional implementation, you will balance big picture thinking with the ability to solve unique engineering challenges. As a Regional Director at Google, you lead high performing teams that deliver complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects that require extensive engineering and project management expertise. Working with internal client groups, your team will plan and oversee projects from start to finish, from design and build to upgrade and remediation work within the existing Data Center network. Working with regional partners, our global design and construction teams, to develop innovative and scalable solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$414,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Manage teams across existing North America West sites as well as new sites.
Manage the teams which are responsible for the site-wide delivery of major new construction or improvement projects.
Establish and maintain delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors measuring KPIs and metrics for safety, cost, schedule, quality and productivity.
Establish regional benchmarking for all KPI’s.
Create a growth plan and be directly involved in resource planning of talent in the areas of Technical Program Management/Program Management and Engineering.
