Google Product Manager, Workload Compliance, Google Cloud in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.

  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

  • Experience gaining regulatory compliance for a product or platform.

  • Experience working with cloud workloads and Infrastructure as Code (IAC).

  • Experience working on building products for DevOps, SREs, Cloud Engineers.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Regulated Cloud Product team is responsible for product leadership for Assured Workloads and the overall Compliance product experience for GCP globally. Regulated Cloud is building a new product to solve the complicated security and compliance problems infrastructure, workloads and data in Cloud and opening capabilities to new customers.

As a Compliance Product Manager, you will prioritize and build products that help customers configure workloads, monitor compliance and generate evidence of compliance. Solving these problems will impact financial services, health, and public sector workloads.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Evaluate the market space, customer opportunity sizing and definition of the product requirements for new regulatory compliance standards.

  • Analyze the cloud players' Compliance stance, positioning and features and gap analysis for GCP.

  • Evaluate the compliance gaps in new geographies and markets that GCP wishes to enter.

  • Assist product requirements for specialized compliance-related projects, help to define what features are required, how they fit together, what their Go-To-Market strategy will be, and ensure that these features get prioritized by the teams that need to develop them.
