  • Performing interior designer duties, which include conducting comprehensive site research, identifying and surveying existing conditions or potential complications, enhancing functionality through space planning, producing existing condition drawings and proposed architectural drawings, selecting functional and aesthetically pleasing materials and finishes (lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, electrical and plumbing fixtures), producing 3D renderings, supervising construction from the initial stages to final completion.
  • Working in Residential renovation projects with responsibilities including exclusive and high-end conceptual design direction, implementation of NYC Building Codes and regulations and ADA standards, designing and coordinating the design and installation of custom millwork and fabrication, building envelope framing.
  • Producing and maintaining the drawing log and producing 3D renderings of proposed designs through architectural drafting and modeling programs such as AUTOCAD, REVIT, RHINO, LUMION and post production tools such as Adobe photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator or other tools such as hand drawings, rendering, collages, paintings and material palettes.
  • Assisting Architects, Project Managers, Project Executives, General Contractors and Superintendents in producing, reviewing architectural drawings and enforcing submitted construction drawing logs. Submitting preliminary and final electrical plans, lighting plans, mechanical plans, floor, and furniture plans for permitting and filing.
  • Construction administration, making sure the design is correctly executed by the GC on site during the construction process to implement the plans and specification for the project to ultimately avoid any potential delays or discrepancies.
  • Coordinating purchase orders with raw material vendors, furniture showrooms, out of house and in house construction /fabrication workroom, delivery team and installation teams. Maintaining communication with artists, art galleries, showrooms, and sales representatives locally and worldwide.
  • Additionally, conduct pre-construction tasks such as site evaluation, feasibility studies, design development, value engineering, cost analysis, and bidding to ensure that the project meets the desired specifications and budget of the client.
