Aerotek Facilities Maintenance Technician in Sunbury, Ohio
Facilities Technician up to 36/hr
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE
Strong analytical troubleshooting abilities, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a technical degree + 5 years’ experience. Experience will include: NFPA70 arc flash, reading blueprints, commercial HVAC Installs/Maintenance, Plumbing, Gas Line Installations/Repairs, Building and project management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adhere to Safety Policy and practices and report any potential unsafe condition or concern to the Safety department immediately and/or to your direct supervisor.
• Ensure that safety and OSHA requirements are met and addressed daily.
• HVAC Monitoring, Maintenance, and Repairs
• Compressed Air Systems Monitoring, Maintenance, and Repairs. Eradicate Air Leaks.
• Perform Maintenance/repairs on boilers, chillers, refrigeration equip., and circulation fans
• Maintain facilities air filters on building air handling systems and production equipment.
• Maintain building’s roofing systems.
• Substation and primary electrical distribution monitoring and maintenance.
• Estimate facility projects content, costs and execution of work.
• Assist in development of capital & expense budgets and power point presentations
• Completion of all assigned work orders and safety trainings
• Develop scope of work for, project management, and supervision of outside contractors.
• Develop and present energy reduction projects.
• Assigned misc. facilities maintenance tasks
1st shift --> 6:30a-3:00pmO.T. - Not required, but this person will need to be okay with staying late if needed! an "8 & skate" type of candidate, they will not be a fit. Flexibility & taking ownership in the role is of the up-most concern!
