Prairie Ridge Health Clinic Radiologic Tech - 0.6 FTE in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin
Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Clinic in the role of CMA or LPN or RN in our Sun Prairie Clinic once it has opened in Fall of 2024. Individuals will train in PRH's other clinics/hospital until the opening. This position is 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week).
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinic Radiology Technologist possesses professional working knowledge and the essential skill functions as it relates to the position required to properly perform General imaging exams. The Technologist is responsible for providing direct patient care services as ordered by physicians. The technologist utilizes radiology equipment accurately; evaluates image quality and performs complete workflow of image management. The technologist provides education and communicates with the patient, family and other healthcare workers. Performs age specific (ranging from neonates to geriatrics) general radiographs. Knowledge of radiation exposure techniques and contrast media is required. Leads the process for obtaining prior authorizations for radiologic exams as required by various insurance providers.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
Graduate of Radiology Technology Program endorsed by the ARRT.
Registered Technologist R.T. (R)
Current CPR certfication or obtain within 90 days of hire.
Wisconsin State License-Licensed Radiographer
FTE: 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week)
Shift: Monday-Friday, days
