Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a dedicated Receptionist in the non-profit sector. The position is based in Summerville, South Carolina, and involves being the first point of contact for our organization. As a Receptionist, you will not only represent our organization but also be responsible for various administrative tasks, including handling our multi-line phone system and organizing files.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for our organization, handling a multi-line phone system and assisting visitors.

• Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and providing information as needed.

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Manage email correspondence, responding promptly and professionally to all communications.

• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff members.

• Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to perform various administrative tasks.

• Keep files organized, ensuring all information is accurate and easily accessible.

• Schedule appointments, managing multiple calendars to avoid any conflicts.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations within the organization.

• Use problem-solving skills to handle any issues that arise in a timely and professional manner. Requirements • Proficient in answering multi-line phone systems.

• Proven customer service skills.

• Experience in data entry tasks.

• Ability to handle email correspondence proficiently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Experience in organizing files and maintaining a well-structured filing system.

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently.

• Previous experience in a non-profit environment is a plus.

• Receptionist experience preferred.

• Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
