Sportsman Boats Mfg. CAD/BOM Technician in Summerville, South Carolina
Sportsman Boats is looking for a CAD/BOM Technician who will be responsible for l eading all Drawing and BOM creation for new and existing models for production, as well as maintaining 3D model and drawing structure for all models.
What you will do:
Lead all Drawing and BOM creation for new and existing models for production
Maintain 3D model and drawing structure for all models
Collaborate with the Engineers and production to determine standards, options and operations for each model
Create new supplier and manufacturing part numbers
Utilize Sportsman’s ERP System (Infor CSI) to analyze BOM correctness and update accordingly
Receive and submit Engineering Change Requests for communication to plantwide for smooth transition of changes.
Work with prototype technicians to ensure kits and drawings are received on time
Validate BOMs and drawings through prototype process to prepare for integration into production
Create drawings and BOMs for in-house manufactured parts such as: aluminum frames, powder coated parts, laminated parts, and cushions by documenting size, amount, material that is used to build components
To be considered you must have :
SolidWorks Experience (preferably PDM experience with 3DX)
Functional knowledge of Infor CSI ERP System
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Extensive knowledge of boat production process / parts from capping through finish
