Responsibilities
Provide onboard assessments, grooms and repairs for in service SIWCS platforms
Provide technical information and reviews to support logistics team to include Tech Manuals, 3M (MRC and MIP) updates, APL updates and Curriculum development
Support Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP), Ship- Acceptance Test Procedure (S-ATP) and System Operational Verification Test (SOVT)
Perform inventories of shipset equipment during ATP’s
Provide technical information for various programmatic briefs
Uses engineering knowledge and methods to design, install, support, and repair technological tools and equipment at a location other than the employee's home office (in the field, at a remote office, or at a client site).
Analyzes user needs; builds, modifies, installs, and tests products. Troubleshoots errors or malfunctions and performs unscheduled or routine maintenance.
Creates, distributes, and maintains service or training manuals; provides on-site training.
Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Qualifications
Typically requires BA and 0-2 years.
SIWCS Communication Navy School or equivalent US Navy Electronic Training
Military experience of 4 years or better in an electronic field
Communications Technology experience
Active Secret clearance
