Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are looking for dedicated and skilled Restaurant Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will be versatile individuals capable of delivering excellent customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, assisting in food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and a memorable dining experience for our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks according to company standards.
Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping, cooking, plating dishes, and ensuring timely meal preparation.
Operate coffee machines and other beverage equipment efficiently and safely.
Take customer orders, handle cash and card transactions using POS systems, and provide friendly, efficient service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in both the coffee bar and kitchen areas, following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Restock ingredients, beverages, and kitchen supplies as needed throughout the shift.
Educate customers on menu items, including coffee varieties, brewing methods, and food selections.
Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen assistants, and fellow service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (barista, kitchen assistant, or food service).
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and basic kitchen practices.
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Open to working flexible or rotating schedules.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or barista training is a plus.
Willing to work in SBFZ, Olongapo City.
