GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.

Role Overview:

  • Monitor, Implement and Drive Daily Management for Product Cost.

  • Drive Root cause Analysis and Problem Solving as needed to meet Site Cost out Targets.

  • Extract and Analyze data from ERP Systems using excel and Identify Cost Out Projects.

  • Drive Material Review Board and Identify Cost out Projects.

  • Track and Report Project status and monitor key milestones as part of site and HQ operating rhythms.

  • Schedule Project Management meetings with Shop Operations team to ensure timely completion of Cost out Projects.

  • Identity, Communicate and Drive Cost out Project with external GE Repair and MRO sites and teams.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role possesses relevant experience in project management within manufacturing or aviation MRO field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 5+ Years of Experience in Project Management & Data Analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of manufacturing and inspection tools and processes used in the repair industry – heat treat, welding, machining, etc. will be an advantage.

  • Working knowledge of blueprints, application of engine manuals and technical substantiation process will be an advantage.

  • Good time management and strong organizational skills, with ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and customer needs.
