Role Overview:
Monitor, Implement and Drive Daily Management for Product Cost.
Drive Root cause Analysis and Problem Solving as needed to meet Site Cost out Targets.
Extract and Analyze data from ERP Systems using excel and Identify Cost Out Projects.
Drive Material Review Board and Identify Cost out Projects.
Track and Report Project status and monitor key milestones as part of site and HQ operating rhythms.
Schedule Project Management meetings with Shop Operations team to ensure timely completion of Cost out Projects.
Identity, Communicate and Drive Cost out Project with external GE Repair and MRO sites and teams.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role possesses relevant experience in project management within manufacturing or aviation MRO field.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5+ Years of Experience in Project Management & Data Analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Good understanding of manufacturing and inspection tools and processes used in the repair industry – heat treat, welding, machining, etc. will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of blueprints, application of engine manuals and technical substantiation process will be an advantage.
Good time management and strong organizational skills, with ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and customer needs.
